CSG is a proud participant in the USAG Xcel Competitive program.
USAG established the Xcel Division in response to the high attrition rates of the traditional Junior Olympic track. The Xcel programs introduces a much broader scope of skills that can be competed for credit in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, allowing athletes to progress across four very unique events at their own pace.
At the Colorado School of Gymnastics, we use gymnastics as a vehicle to teach life skills that will support our competitive athletes not only in their tenure as a competitive gymnast, but also in their future educational, athletic, and professional endeavors.
The key principles that guide our competitive programming include:
- Accountability
- Integrity
- Consistency
- Commitment
- Sportsmanship
- Safety
- Communication
- Engagement
- Development
- and more!
